Round 10 – Rugboracle Picks – Part 2

God, what a distasterous start.   Crusaders smashed by the Chiefs and now the Reds on fire to beat the spent force.

Brumbies get out the silver service for the Sharks at Canberra Stadium tomorrow and by all accounts it bound to be a close affair.  Sharks have seemingly limped across the line each week and soon their luck is bound to run out.  Last week Brumbies were on fire when they burst on the field and demolished a useless Blues side.  Sharks have never won at Canberra and maybe this is a week for upsets.  Plus, Brumbies need to win this more than the Sharks do, if they want to make semi’s.  But then Mortlock the playmaker is out…tough one.  Sharks by 3

Waratahs have a go at the Lions who dont travel well. Mind you, they dont stay at home well, either.  The only thing interesting here is the score line and although everyones talking 25 points or more, i think it will be a little closer based on Lions first half performance last week.  Waratahs by 12.

Bulls take on the Highlanders after half the team were sacked after the entire team were sacked by the hurricanes last week.  Planetrugy is even going for the Highlanders.  They have certainly conceded less points than the bulls.  In any other year this wouldnt even be a debate but the Bulls look so crap and unorganised that they might be worth the dabble at 3.30 – 1 odds.

Bulls to squeeze past by 3.

Stormers are looking strong this year and in many ways have been one of the surprise teams of the tournament, even giving up their usual tendency for one loss for every victory earned.  But Hurricanes just seem to be taking that step further every week.  Most of the indicators are going for the Canes this week and so am I after they won me some money last week. At 2.24 again this week, not bad. Hurricanes by 6.
